I’m not usually a bracelet person.  They get in my way at work when I’m trying to write or type, and I always seem to be trying to adjust them.  So that’s why I was excited to come across this bracelet by jewelry designer Igal Dahan called id your love.

It’s a pretty simple bracelet, with an interlocking handcuff-style clasp, and an interchangeable rope strap that comes in a bunch of different colors.  The straps can be tightened with the bracelet on, so it doesn’t hang down on your wrist and get in the way.  I think it has a cute casual look, that pretty much goes with everything.

The website also shows a bunch of celebs rocking these out, like Kim Kardashian, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, and my man John Stamos!

The bracelets are available online or at certain retailers (I got mine at Bleu Marine & Co.) and range from $35-$75.

Last year, Georgia posted about her splurge on some Havaiana flip-flops, and now it’s my turn to discuss my favorite Brazilian sandal: Ipanemas.

While I wasn’t really in the market for a $40 flip-flop, I saw the new line of Ipanemas by uber-model Gisele Bundchen and I couldn’t resist.  These sandals are made from PVC, and apparently mold to your foot as you wear them (Birkenstock-style).  While I was a little hesitant about the pricetag, I justified it by determining that they are eco-friendly, and part of the proceeds go toward water conservation efforts in the Amazon Rainforest. 

BUT, the main selling point…these are by far the most comfortable thing I’ve ever put on my foot.  I’ve been known to wear Crocs (I know, I know), but these sandals take the cake.  That PVC must also have some magic in it, because plastic footwear should not feel like this.

Gisele has quite a few styles, in a number of metallic and summer-friendly colors, and all of them are pretty nice.

Now I know a number of people have been having trouble finding these in Canada.  I bought mine at Little Burgundy (and ALDO affiliate) here in Montreal, but there isn’t a location that I know of in Vancouver.  There  are a few of the styles available on their website, but not all of them.  Some StoneRidge locations have a few of the styles, and select Browns Shoes as well.

So, if you’re looking for a new sandal this season (or even if you’re not) I highly suggest you try a pair of these on!

Season after season, the latest bag trends have gotten bigger and bigger at the expense of my shoulder and I’m sick of it!  Well thankfully, the accessory gods have smiled on us and mini purses are hot for spring!

Designers like Miu Miu and Christian Louboutin have some really cute ones this season

But of course for the more budget concious I’ve found a couple of lookalikes that won’t break the bank

Does anyone else think this is really awesome?

It’s a gold plated pendant/USB key from Roberto Cavalli.  Now it doesn’t say how much memory this little guy has, but for $565 it had better be at least 8 GB!

Now I’m a big fan of shorts, and with summer feeling like it’s just around the corner I’ve been on the lookout for this year’s hottest short trend…and  I think I’ve found it.  It’s bloomers people!  You know bloomers, those old-timey undergarments “popularized by Amelia Bloomer in the early 1850s” (thank you Wikipedia).

I first saw them out in the new Bottega Veneta line and thought they were pretty cute.

But if you’re looking for a discount (and slightly shorter) version, American Apparel is on top of the bloomer trend this season.  And at only $35, how can you resist??

In the greatest pairing since Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, Christian Louboutin (of shoe fame) has paired up with Mattel to design the coolest Barbie around!  The barbie is dressed in a cat burglar suit and comes with four pairs of Louboutins including their own boxes and bags.  It also comes with a cute travel journal, describing the adventures of Barbie and Christian in Paris. 

This gal is definitely at the top of my holiday wishlist, but runs a steep $150 (versus the $20 I paid for my Skipper back in the day).
